Answers That Make Things Easy
The Sponsor Management System (SMS) is an online platform provided by the UK Home Office that allows licensed sponsors to manage their sponsorship duties, issue Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS), and report changes related to their sponsored workers and organisation.
Only authorised staff members of the sponsoring organisation, such as the Authorising Officer, Key Contact, and Level 1 or Level 2 Users, can access the SMS.
You can log in using your sponsor licence number and login credentials via the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) website. A secure password and user ID will be provided when your licence is approved.
A CoS is a unique reference number assigned through the SMS to each sponsored worker, which they need to apply for their visa.
All changes, such as a worker’s job title, salary, or work address, must be reported via the SMS within 10 working days.
