1. About this policy

This Cookies Policy explains how V Immigration Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at vimmigration.co.uk. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Our use of cookies is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR, and follows current Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) guidance.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve their performance, and provide information to site operators. “Similar technologies” include pixel tags, web beacons, local storage and software development kits (SDKs).

3. Cookies we use

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies (always on)

These cookies remember your cookie settings, so we don’t ask you again on every page. They last 365 days. On your first visit, cmplz_statistics is set to “allow” to record that analytics is on; the others are set when you make a choice.

If you are a member of our team and sign in to manage the website, the website also sets strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. These are not used for visitors.

3.2 Analytics cookies (on unless you turn them off)

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, so we can improve the website. These cookies are set when you visit, unless you have turned analytics off or your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. You can turn them off at any time (see section 6).

We do not use advertising, social media or other tracking cookies.

4. Google Analytics

Google Analytics records information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived at our website, your device and browser type, your approximate location (town or region), and actions such as scrolling, following links, downloading a file and starting or sending a form. It does not record what you type into our forms. Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses.

We have set Google Analytics to keep this data for 2 months, and we have turned off Google signals, so it is not linked to Google accounts or used for advertising. Google processes the data on our behalf under its data processing terms. The data may be processed in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We don’t ask for your consent for these cookies. We rely on the exception in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations for cookies used only to produce statistics that help us improve our website (Schedule A1, paragraph 5). We use the statistics only in summary form, to improve the website: not to identify you, for advertising, or to make decisions about you. You can object at any time, free of charge, by turning analytics off (see section 6).

5. Third-party content and links

The footer of our website shows the Immigration Advice Authority’s verification badge, which is provided by Yoshki and loads from Yoshki’s servers. When we checked on 7 October 2026, it did not set cookies on your device.

When you follow a link to book a consultation, you leave our website for Cal.com’s booking pages. Cal.com, and the payment provider it uses, set their own cookies, which are governed by their own policies.

6. Your choices

When you first visit our website, a banner tells you that we use Google Analytics and lets you turn it off. Turning it off is as easy as leaving it on, and the website works the same either way.

You can change your mind at any time: click “Cookie settings” at the foot of any page to reopen the banner. If you turn analytics off, Google Analytics stops straight away and its cookies are deleted from your device. You can also delete cookies already stored on your device through your browser settings.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an objection: analytics stays off and the banner is not shown. You can still turn analytics on through “Cookie settings”.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time, for example if we add or remove a cookie. We will update this policy before we start using any new type of cookie, and ask for your consent where the law requires it. The latest version, with its effective date, will be available on our website.
